The Puma Disc shoe was a testament to Puma technological expertise, as it eliminated the need for a lacing system. The adjustable disc allowed the user to alter the fit of the shoe and was a breakthrough in shoe technology. The outsole featured DuPont's Hypalon rubber for maximum cushioning and shock absorption.
